Its all because your name is Irfan Ahmed. Tamil movie FIR is a decent thriller with good performances by Vishnu Vishal Manjima Mohan and Raiza Wilson. Running time should be reduced by 15 minutes. Rating 35.

The screenplay of what happens when an innocents life is destroyed for no reason does strike well and it definitely would make someone emotional cry in some of those scenes as well.For some reason the cinematography looked awful and the music didnt work at all.The GVM play was neat good just like a top notch security guy of the country well written and executed as well.The surprise element in the climax was really good and really came as a surprise wo a guess and the final message of the film about how it is not about religion but about the people involved in it was spot on. But I doubt it since the makers of this film are torch light bearers for the religion and their whole game plan is to support that religion as their livelihoods and business political ventures depend on it.Recently there have been many films coming up targeting the same religion for whatsoever reason this film being one of them gives a sense of feeling that becomes a drawback for the film no matter how good it may be.

The movie looks like Shikari Shambu comics with nothing believable. The screenplay lags and editing is slow. The writing is old fashioned. There is no strong theme and last part looks plain rip of family man. Not recommended

We all know nowadays movies comes with a climax twist. Some are great whereas some ridicule the viewers. For me this movie belongs to the second category. The climax twist is little too much to digest and it spoiled the overall buildup of the movie.

Logic and plot is a comedy Im struggling to find 150 words to describe the movie. You keep watching the movie trying to find a better reason for the sequence of events and it turns out more and more comedy as the time passes. In the end you feel sad for having spent so much time watching this movie.

Has a very good plot Idea based on religious profiling and discrimination. But that stops at that.Very very poor execution of screenplay acting and over all story. Makes a laughing stock of us as a viewer. Anyone with a lower IQ would laud this movie as intelligent.Otherwise this is just another wanna be intelligent thriller with execution that makes you feel like watching a movie made with zero regard to logic and believability.

Good Movie. Everybody acted well in the movie. Songs and BGM in the movie were worst. The movie was somewhat interesting and thrilling. The movie could have been more better. Good Movie.

Shame on the entire team of this crap called movie. I was thinking only few in bollywood lost their self respect but accidentally I came across this cheap movie from south. Any one with brain will understand for which political party favour this so called movie is made and to help in taking forward the agenda of hatred toward one community. First of all this movie is flop no one from this movie has future as far as talent and look is concerned. You all will be answerable when this country will be destroyed by hatred. Shame on you all sick like you in fact are terrorists and should be behind bars.

Vishnu Vishal first mass thriller film. Vishnu Vishal had fully displayed his acting talent excellent performance. GVM good role but not use Raiza wilson acting excellent reba monica The acting was good for the story. Manjima mohan I do not know why. Director Mano Anand did not know the first film was so special. The screenplay was story driven. I do not know the excitement in this movie. He has explained everything very clearly and that is the negative of this film.BGM and Songs superb work fight scenes awesomeOVERALL Good Watch Thriller FIR.

Are you people think ya all are sane. All of ya are insane. Just to show a how your mentality is. All of you know that murderer has no religion. A murderer of an innocent man is a murderer. So please do not show that only muslim people are terrorist. Terror is also from your religion mister director. Shame on this team.

Storyline and screenplay of the movie is different and interesting and keeps the audience glued except for the last 30 minutes which was very vague and too predictable that period could have been better handled.One question that keeps popping out throughout the movie is why would religion matter in all the interviews that protagonist is attending probably a better logical reason could have been given.Acting and facial expressions of Vishnu Vishal Gautam Menon are too good and they both steal the entire show.Another great aspect of the movie is its Cinematography and some frames make the audience feel Wow. One can also learn how not to come to conclusions about people just by looking at their name complexion and other obvious things.

Vishal has done a good job. His portrayal of a Muslim youngster convinces. The first half some may get disappointed as I felt ans the second has the reason for that 1st half loosely knit storyline. Only after watching the reasons behind the movie felt great. Good story and the 2nd half has the gist of the story. Definitely not a theater thriller recommending u to watch in ott.

Characters are too stereotypical and plot is too weak to follow. Hero is a IIT gold medalist and still struggling for a job just because he is a muslim. Hard to believe even if you keep all logic aside.Zakir naiks character is shown to be a clean one which is plain brainwashing.Looks like now tamil films have also started showing romance between muslim boy and hindu girl. Hoping to see if any director has guts to show a reversal of this if they are truly secular.One good thing is it creates awareness about muslim extremist groups in TN and kerala.

A breathe of fresh air among the recent flicks in regional films that stands tall perhaps gonna be sleeper hit...A standing ovation for the overall film crews and is definitely a must see movie...with a neat script crisp editing and flawless screenplay u gonna feel guilty if u miss it or watch it in home screen...overall a rock solid theatre material.

There were twists and turns. But had higher expectations on the storyline with Vishnu Vishal and Gautam in key roles. Later half the story felt flat and didnt leave a good taste.

This movie was recommended to me as an above average movie but it was painful for me to sit through it. Save for the acting of a few actors the whole movie is found lacking. It makes a mockery out of the audience as well as the intelligence officers that it tries to portray. When making a movie especially one on terrorism the director and whoever worked on the script should have put in more research and effort. To those going through these reviews to decide whether you should watch this movie please for the love of God find something worth your while.

Fir A well made movie with good writing I dont get why some people are just bashing the movie all around. Like guys its a movie I went in with zero expectations and came out surprisingly happy with the movie. And the the fightaction sequences are well choreograhed but the fight scenes could have been shot better. And I also saw a review where a person is giving a low rating just for a quote supposedly put below the actor in the poster stating that the actor is superior to that quote yall just voting the movie very badly cause of the smallest stuff. Overall the movie is a nice action flick worth your while and your money. Dont listen to these negative reviews and just go have a good time watching the movie Have fun yall

Movie has a strong message that is its easy for those in power to trick media and propagate malicious falsehood.The movie has a good story and plot. Movie portrays how discrimination and religious profiling destroys hopes. Movie team did a good job on building up suspense emotional scenes and watchable fight scenes. Many dialogues were punchy. Female roles had powerful presence.Execution or screenplay could have been better. Too many characters in the movie. First half is laggy.We really need concepts like this. Overall this movie is worth watching.
